Meet Mark Taylor - Executive Chef...

Our Executive Chef, Mark Taylor is totally committed to ensuring the finest quality food and the highest standards in service.

Mark’s passion for food and wine began in London and France in 1988 and has since fuelled a journey of international culinary experiences and career achievements.

After training at City & Guilds of London, Mark worked at various award winning UK restaurants and prestigious establishments in Bath (French), Kent (classic British) and London including Amberley Castle (3AA Rossettes and RAC Blue Ribbon).

I chose to head the Crystal Palace catering team as they were unlike any other function kitchen and had strategically designed a quality team of restaurant chefs. This is a new philosophy within the Australian catering market and I was excited by the opportunity to make a mark on the industry at this pivotal time..

Onboard Cunard’s flagship QE11 and Disney Cruise Lines, Mark demonstrated his skills in delivering world class catering standards for large volumes. In April 2008, Mark was promoted to Executive Chef at Luna Park Sydney after 4 years as the Head Chef.

Mark said that he was initially attracted to Luna Park because of their restaurant quality philosophy to food and service.
