Sonar Sydney

Located next to the Luna Park face is an intimate new venue on the Sydney event scene. Sonar Sydney is a specialized event space designed for live music, entertainment and functions.

Sonar is equipped with the latest sound and lighting technology and features a permanent stage and state of the art green rooms with bathroom facilities for performers and speakers. Sonar is perfect for functions up to 90 guests in cocktail, theatre or buffet style.

Sonar offers a unique ‘New York basement’ style glimpse of Sydney Harbour, the Opera House and the city. The venue features a private bar, cloak room and guest registration area. There is natural light flowing into the venue and fixed drapes that enable a complete black out.

Functions in Sonar are catered by Luna Park Sydney’s well established in-house catering team, which since April 2006 has delivered exceptional dining experiences for over one thousand functions, including events for Macquarie Bank, Pricewaterhouse Coopers and Coca Cola Amatil. In 2007, Luna Park Sydney partnered with wine distributors Samuel Smith & Sons and Negociants to offer clients a world class wine list with wines from the Barossa, Yarra and Hunter regions.
