Vivid Extends to the North Shore in 2013

This year, Milsons Point and Luna Park Sydney will be a focal point in the biggest year yet for Vivid Sydney.

In what is a year of firsts for the event, Vivid Sydney will move across the harbour into Milsons Point, lighting up the area around Luna Park; and installing a world-first immersive projection that will allow the public to change the colour and scene of the west face of the Sydney Harbour Bridge between 6pm and midnight.

The projection will be controlled from an interactive touchscreen located on the Luna Park Sydney boardwalk from 24 May – 10 June. This is the first time the Sydney Harbour Bridge has been included in the Vivid event.

The Crystal Palace Venues at Luna Park have two ideal venues to host your Vivid celebration function. These unique rooms combine luxury fittings with spectacular catering to deliver a unique experience right in the heart of Sydney Harbour and Vivid Sydney.

The Palais room is a jewel in the crown for function rooms in Sydney, recently opened and ideal for your Vivid cocktail event. It boasts sweeping views of Sydney Harbour, the Sydney CBD and Opera House, a magnificent balcony area for pre dinner drinks, entry via Sydney Harbour wharf, a state of the art dance floor and kitchen facilities, and an in- house sound system suitable for speakers and background music.

Our Palais Vivid Party Package will delight your guests and is available during Vivid Sydney for $130 per person. It includes gourmet canapés, Silver Beverage package, venue hire, security and catering services.

The Ted Hopkins room at Luna Park Sydney is another option for your Vivid cocktail or banquet corporate event. The room offers sweeping views of Lavender Bay and one of Sydney’s most picturesque harbour inlets. It is a room with outstanding acoustics and amazing views to stimulate your colleagues or delegates during the Vivid Sydney celebrations at Luna Park Sydney. Available from $88 per person during Vivid Sydney.

Party On at Sonar Sydney for Vivid 2013

Looking to book a private party during Vivid Sydney – with your own bar right on Sydney Harbour? The Sonar Bar at Luna Park Sydney is your own private party room fully equipped and catered from just $55 per person.

Sonar Sydney is a pumping new party venue at Luna Park Sydney designed for live music, entertainment and small private parties from 60 to 200 guests. It comes fully equipped with a private bar, permanent stage, cloak room, and security all included. The venue boasts a unique ‘New York basement’ style glimpse of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Opera House and the city with the option to have natural light flowing into the venue or to employ fixed drapes that enable a complete black out.

To celebrate Vivid Sydney expanding across the harbour in 2013, we are launching a new Sonar Sydney private party package that includes exclusive use of the Sonar Bar for you and your guests, a hot canapé menu, security and AV; all from just $55 per person.

Our experienced in-house catering team, who have delivered exceptional canapé, beverage and dining experiences for tens of thousands of guests since 2006, will provide you and your party guests delicious hot canapés and our Sonar party menu on the night.

Beverage packages, bands, entertainment and amusement park rides are also available at affordable add-on prices, and alternate or tailored menus are also available on request.

The Sonar Vivid Party package is a four hour package available seven days a week from 6pm to midnight each night from May 24 2013 to June 10 2013 during Vivid Sydney. Minimum 60 to 200 guests.
